About Us
Weipa, located in the Far North of Queensland, boasts the Carpentaria Golf Club. This public course, established in the 1970s, features a 9-hole layout with 18 tees, surrounded by numerous trees that add to the challenge of the game.
The Carpentaria Golf Club offers a hearty welcome to all, from near and far.
Tee times are open to the general public seven days a week. However, availability may be restricted and limited on competition days. Typically, the course is available to the public from Monday to Friday, 8 AM until dusk. Weekends are also available to Social Golfers outside of competition times.
Club members participate in competitions on Sundays. Social Golf sessions are held on Wednesday afternoons (Wackers) and Friday afternoons (Rum Run), as well as Dawnbusters on Sunday mornings. Our team will inform you of any applicable restrictions at the time of your booking.
